Adam Musfelt - CEO
Adam founded Bright in 2021 after 20+ years of working in all levels of property operations and asset management for various owner/operators. With experience managing large multifamily properties and portfolios, his goal with Bright is to provide institutional knowledge and operations for smaller properties to maximize returns for his clients.
He began his tenure in property management as a leasing consultant, and within a few years, moved through the ranks of community director, regional manager, and assistant director of real estate at an endowment (CCEB) in Stockton, where he worked for 10 years managing a multifamily portfolio consisting of over 1,300 units. After his time at CCEB, he was recruited to JCM, located in Concord, as a key Regional Asset Manager, responsible for value-add investments within a portfolio that totaled over 3,000 units, while undergoing significant renovation.
Adam is active in the Sacramento property management industry through his previous service on the Executive Council for the Sacramento Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, as a former Board Member for the Sacramento Chapter of the California Apartment Association, and for several years as an instructor for the Rental Housing Association. Adam has a B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento, holds a Certified Property Manager designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management, and is a licensed real estate broker in California.
Bethany Jacobs - Director of Operations
Bethany oversees the essential day-to-day tasks that keep the company running smoothly. With years of experience as a licensed insurance agent and a strong background in risk management, Bethany brings a keen ability to identify and mitigate risk. Her expertise safeguards that both owners and tenants are well-supported, while her passion for marketing and design adds a creative and unique edge to her approach.
Having been a tenant herself through several property management companies, Bethany recognized a need for honest, organized, and proactive management. This experience drives her commitment to providing exceptional customer service, building trust, and fostering open communication. Throughout her career, Bethany has been recognized for her exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, integrity, and unwavering dedication to her clients and team.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring nature through hiking and working on her acreage. She has a deep appreciation and love for music and finds joy in caring for her beloved cats and chickens.
Amanda Calles - Regional Manager
With over ten years of dedicated experience in the property management industry, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Bright Property Management. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working onsite and in corporate office settings, which has allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of both operational and strategic aspects of the industry.
Amanda's commitment to excellence drives her to help Bright Property Management thrive as a leader in the field. She takes pride in fostering collaborative teams, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the properties consistently exceed expectations. As a lifelong learner, she is always seeking ways to grow professionally and stay ahead of industry trends.
Allison Courtney - Office Administrator
Allison is dedicated and experienced in property management with a passion for helping individuals and families find their ideal apartment home. As a previous business owner, she understands the importance of running efficient operations. Allison plays a crucial role at Bright through maintaining operations at our corporate office, while also helping with many operational aspects at the properties we manage.

Ashley Frybarger - Leasing and Marketing Coordinator
A professional within Bright property management who oversees both the leasing process, including tenant screening and application management, as well as coordinating all aspects of property maintenance, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep, by communication with residents, vendors, and maintenance staff to maintain the overall quality of a building or complex.
